Eyes Wide Shut

So over the weekend Sir and I attended an event and it turned out to be amazing! This is the first BDSM event we have attended together and the first one either of us has been to in years.

I will be sharing a few different topics that this event brought up for me. I learned a lot about myself this weekend. Some things that scarred me about myself and some that just felt good. Things I missed about being around others in this lifestyle.

One of the most important things I learned this weekend is family. We are all born into one BUT the one we create is sometimes so much more fulfilling!

The saying blood is thicker than water plays in my mind heavily…because most people misuse this quote or don’t know the full quote.

“The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.”

Meaning the bonds we make in life with people who have no water relation sometimes hold us down and uplift us more than we expect. The bonds we make with people are so surprising and can fill your cup better than the people who are born into your family. AND not to take away from family because I have some dope family members too. This weekend just gave me something only kink family can.

I got to be in service this weekend to more than just my Sir. I got to be little in a way I haven’t in so long. I learned a new side to the primal in me. tried some new kinks and loved it! Met people I didn’t realize would change my perspective on some things in the world of BDSM. Learned about some types of play that can really fuck with your mind. I experienced one of the greater mind fucks this weekend lol.
